DGI and VISA renew agreements to facilitating taxpayers’ tax payments.

Likewise, according to the General Director of Revenues, “the agreement seeks to promote tax collection through new channels, including digital ones through the website, as well as physical points of sale stand out among the points agreed upon.”
In addition, “these commitments will allow taxpayers to pay their taxes quickly, easily, and securely from the comfort of their homes or offices, entering only to the DGI website and go to the link DGI online or simply go to the offices of the institution throughout the country where they can pay with all the facilities.”
“We are taking an important step towards digitalization and convenience, in terms of the opportunity for taxpayers to use one of the most important credit and debit cards on our planet,” expressed the DGI director.
In the same regard, the general manager of Visa in Panama, Santiago Rega, expressed his satisfaction for “helping to create more convenience and security, opening new channels for Panamanian taxpayers to pay and improve the system and revenue collection for the Government of Panama”.
